Meet Sarah

On January 17th, 2007, my wife and I went to the Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) in anticipation of delivering our daughter. Excited and anxious, we were the typical first-time soon-to-be parents. Then the really intense labor pains visited us around 11pm, and everything turned to sweating, loud noises, tears, and whispers of utmost prayers.

"Hello, world."

Allow me to introduce Sarah. She's less than 5 minutes old in this photo. She's tiny. She's beautiful. She's perfect. Despite being seriously early, we avoided major problems. Here are the critical info:

Sarah S.

6 pounds 4 ounces
19 1/2 inches
Ruth and Dave

The two of us went to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon smiling with great anticipation. The three of us left the hospital on Friday evening with amazement and unspeakable joy. We're a complete family now, and the best moments seem to be just ahead.

We'll wait in anticipation and excitement...again.
